Venue Accessibility

The box office is accessible from the plaza level. Wheelchair seating is accessible from the concourse level only. Please call 212.799.3100 ext. 2207 at least 24 hours prior to the performance to make arrangements for assistance.

There are six wheelchair locations in the Orchestra and ten locations in the Dress Circle.

Available for people to go to and from their seats. No security deposit required.


Assistance for Guests Who Are Deaf or Have Hearing Loss

Assistive listening devices available for hard-of-hearing patrons. See the attendant at the coat check. A major credit card or driver’s license is needed as a security deposit. Specially designed titles system offers continuous translation of the opera to each member of the audience.


Assistance for Guests who are Blind or Have Low Vision

Large-type programs are available at all performances. Braille synopses are available for most operas. Contact an usher. Family Circle score desk tickets, with no view of the stage are available for $10 for most performances. Contact the Met Opera Guild Education

Drinks and Dining

The Grand Tier Restaurant Opens two hours prior to curtain to all Lincoln Center ticket holders, and during intermission for Metropolitan Opera ticket holders. Reservations are required. Call 212.799.3400 for reservations. Patrons who use wheelchairs or those who wish to avoid steps must enter from the concourse level and use the elevator.


Pre-curtain and Intermission Bars serving sandwiches, pastries, snacks, cocktails, coffee and assorted beverages. Balcony Bar Balcony level. Revlon Bar Grand Tier level. Parterre Champagne Bar exclusively serving the Parterre Boxes. Orchestra Bar Orchestra level. Founder’s Hall Coffee bar also serving wine and champagne.
