Take the #1 local train to 66th Street/Lincoln Center Station.

The M5, M7, M10, M66, and M104 bus lines all stop within one block of Lincoln Center.

Venue Accessibility

Wheelchair access to the Lincoln Center Theater box office, serving the Vivian Beaumont, Mitzi E. Newhouse and Claire Tow Theaters, is available from the street-level entrance on 65th Street. Enter through the glass doors in front of the large curved mural, and use the wheelchair lift on the left. The doorbell next to the lift will call a security guard to assist if necessary. The Beaumont lobby and orchestra level is accessible by a ramp located to the right of the box office.

Wheelchair access to the Beaumont and Newhouse Theaters is available from the street-level entrance via a manned elevator located to the right of the large mural.

Wheelchair access to the Claire Tow Theater is available via two elevators located inside the Beaumont lobby, at the Lincoln Center plaza level. The lobby and box office open one hour prior to curtain. At all other times, please visit the main LCT box office for ticket sales and will-call pick-up.

There are 3 ways to purchase tickets:

2. Buy online at Telecharge.com. Specifically, to order wheelchair or transfer arm locations select the ‘Find Tickets’ button and click the “Wheelchair & Transfer Arm Seating” link.

3. In person at the box office.

Accessible Seating:

Please specify when visiting the box office or calling Telecharge if you require a Wheelchair Location or if you will transfer from a wheelchair to a theater seat.

Vivian Beaumont Orchestra:

Orchestra level is accessible via the elevator described above. Entrance is behind Row O which is the only row accessible to people using wheelchairs. There are approximately 1-2 steps down per row to all other rows, except Row P, which is 1 step up.

Vivian Beaumont Mezzanine:

Called Loge at this theater. Due to structural limitations, this location is not accessible. Located up 2 flights of stairs, 30 steps. Entrance is behind Row E and there are approximately 1-2 steps down per row to reach all other Loge seats.

Mitzi E. Newhouse Orchestra:

Orchestra level is accessible via the elevator described above. Entrance is behind Row H which is the only row accessible to people using wheelchairs. There are approximately 1-2 steps down per row to reach all other seats.

Claire Tow Orchestra:

Orchestra level is accessible via the two elevators described above. Entrance is at Row A which is the only row accessible to people using wheelchairs. There are two steps up per row to reach all other seats.


Assistance for People with Hearing Loss:

The Vivian Beaumont, Mitzi E. Newhouse and Claire Tow Theaters are equipped with Assistive Listening systems. Headsets and loops are available from the concessions bar in each lobby. Driver’s license or ID with printed address required.

Venue Amenities

Payphones are accessible in the LCT box office area (volume control). TTY available at first telephone booth closest to box office window.

Wheelchair accessible restrooms are located on the lobby levels of the Vivian Beaumont, Mitzi E. Newhouse and Claire Tow Theaters.

Water fountains are located near the restrooms.


Drinks and Dining:

Light refreshments available at the concession stands of the Vivian Beaumont and Mitzi E. Newhouse Theaters a half-hour before curtain and during intermission. The Claire Tow Theater bar offers drinks and a light menu nightly. Opens to Claire Tow Theater ticketholders one hour before curtain and stays open after the show.


The Shops at Lincoln Center

Wheelchair access to the Lincoln Center Theater shop is available in the Vivian Beaumont Theater lobby, at the Lincoln Center plaza level. Open from one half hour before curtain through conclusion of performances. Note that the Beaumont Theater is not accessible from this entrance. Shop items are also available online at www.LCT.org
