Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's opera buffa composed in 1790 is one of three renowned collaborations with Venetian librettist Lorenzo La Ponte, premiered in the United States by The Metropolitan Opera in 1922. A romantic and comical farce, Così and its time-honored debate about fealty make it beloved among audiences worldwide
